I am also looking to buy BP Prius V 5 package right now, I was told that 5 comes with Nav as std., really? I thought its a optional. Anyway, so far one local dealership quoted me $33,300 with Nav, not sure how much is the right price to start to bargain. What's your price for your V?
I saw Truecar.com's price is $29,987.

I think you might have misunderstood what comes standard with the Prius V 5.

When you go to the Toyota site:

Interior, the 3 and 5 have Nav standard.

As you see here, the two 'options' which is only available for the 5 is the Premium HDD Nav system along with XM hardware which comes with the ATP package. The additional standard features for the 5 is Smart Key and the Synth Leather Seats.

I know it is a lot to take in, I sort of went in with little information about the Prius V cars and wanted to look at one in person.

That's not right, either, unless I am mis-reading your intent. The standard NAV that the V and III wagons have is:

It got mishmashed together... the intent was that the Nav system comes standard for both III and V, but the V has the additional options. Unfortunately, I was below the 'allowed linking' posting count and I was hacking out the linked stuff. The V's atp allows for the better looking Nav system as well as the other stuff. But the major focus was that III did come with NAV as part of the standard package.

In either case, Dianne, if I recall correctly, is an actual Toyota Dealer type and should know more than I do... I'm just a customer who is still figuring out most of the stuff and enjoying the car still.

I'd wager that the average regular on PriusChat knows more than the average Toyota dealer about the Prius v, Dianne is probably the minority when it comes to dealers

Before we test drove our v I did a lot of research on it. So when we test drove it I had some knowledge about it. During the test drive I switched from ECO to PWR mode. My wife ask me what did I do that? Before I could answer her the dealer sitting in the back seat leaned forward and ask "just what do those buttons do?"
