    Check PCS system after spring change/manually clear DTC with SST

    Alright I installed some new springs on my car with no issues. Except the socket I lost in the engine bay which I found. Anyway after everything had been installed once again I decided to take her out for a spin. On initial start up the normal notifications came on. Following the initial start up sequence I saw; Check PSC System (MFD), pcs light blinking, ABS indicators on, the triangle and anti skid/brake assist light on. I then turned the car on and off 5 times to attempt a reset with no luck. I then removed the negative wire from the battery and waited for 2 mins. Again the system faults are still there. I know there are no broken wires or connections so I'm confused as to what happened. I had the car on jack stands for about a day while I was called away for work. The "E" brake was also on the entire time while it was on stands. Not sure if this relates to what is happening thanks for your input on this fellow peps.:(:(:(

    Also is there a way to manually reset the fault codes using a SST as there is on the Gen II??

    I wish I had some helpful advice, but I don't. Bump to the top in hopes that someone has some useful information.

    Thanks I'm not certain if it has to do with lowering the car or the angle the car was at during the day. I've checked rechecked triple checked all connections, and fuses. Nothing is torn or smashed or anything. Before anyone ask, yes the PCS button is in the engaged position. I've also pushed it multiple times to see if it was disengaged.

    The easiest way to check is probably Techstream (just buy the $60 mangoose cable). If I had to guess, the issue is with the height control sensor. After a spring change, the car's ride height does change. The manual recommends a height control sensor adjustment after an alignment, so it is possible that this is your problem. I believe this option can be checked through the Nav screen. PM me your email and I will send you the info.

    Just to ask anyone in NJ,NY or PA busy tomorrow and got your hands on Techstream Lite with a Mongoose cable??? Want to see if I can adjust the ride height. I went to my local parts store and had them run an OBS sensor. No fault codes appeared but then again I'm not sure if their equipment will work. Thanks everyone

    Try the diagnostic menu that can be accessed through the Nav. See if any of the PCS systems show an error.

    Alright here are my code read outs;

    C0205=Front speed sensor LH circuit
    C1659=Advance parking guidance parking assist monitor
    C1A45=Lane keeping assist
    B1504=Combination meter
    B1206=Main body
    B2784=Smart key
    B2060=Pre-Collision
    B2090=Pre-Collision
    C1A40=Pre-Collision 2

    After some troubleshooting I've come to the conclusion that the first read out (speed sensor) is bad. All of these codes relate back to that single code. Only $270....should of been careful with the removal process. I barely pulled on the wire while it was disconnected from the shock strut but wow...Had no idea it was that delicate. Now if only my dealer can fall for the "I didn't do it"...jp

    Unplug/plug the connection back in. It may just be loose.
