    Hi all,

The car makes a very high pitched, short squeak that sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side. It happens when we go over little dips or bumps in the road.

It started about 10 days ago after the car had to have its alignment fixed and the tires changed. The technician told us it was due to regularly hitting some bump in the road near where we live, implying that it was very common.

In any case, before I make time to go back to the repair facility, I wanted to some input from folks who are more automobile savvy than I.

Any ideas on what's causing this?

It doesn't happen when the brake is applied, and sounds like it may be coming from inside the car, if not just behind the glove box.

    Thanks!

I think you answered your own question. They did not put something back correctly after the alignment, maybe the aero covers. Why did the car need the alignment fixed? Is this a Prius V or did you post in the wrong forum?
