Does anyone understand the Pricing for Entune Access for the Premium HDD Navigation?

I think "Apps $5/month" covers the various plug-in hybrid apps.

But then there's Data Services and Sirius XM Data Services Package:
    Data Services
    NavTraffic™ = $3.99/monthˆ
    NavWeather™ = $9.95/monthˆ
    Travel Link™ (Fuel and Sports & Stocks) = $1.99/monthˆ
    SiriusXM [8] Data Services Package
    $8.99/monthˆ

Does the SiriusXM Data Services Package include NavTraffic, NavWeather and Travel Link? If so, why does it cost less than NavWeather alone?

Or is Sirius XM Data Services Package required to access NavTraffic, NavWeather, and Travel Link? It seems ridiculously high priced at $23.92/month if that's the case.

Finally, on Sirius's website, they list NavTraffic, NavWeather, SiriusXM Traffic, and SiriusXM Travel Link. Are NavTraffic and Sirius XM Traffic the same or different? Is there a difference between Travel Link and SiriusXM Travel Link?

In addition to the Entune subscription, you also must have a Safety Connection subscription (currently $139.95/year) to use the Plug-in Hybrid Applications on a smartphone.

I think part of the reason for the confusing names is because the data services are different depending on if you are using an XM or Sirius radio (even though both are part of the same company now). At Infotainment Services - SiriusXM Radio it shows that XM radios have these services: NavTraffic, NavWeather, and SiriusXM Travel Link (Sirius radios have SiriusXM Traffic, SiriusXM Travel Link, and SiriusXM Backseat TV).

The $9.95 NavWeather price is for customers that do not subscribe to SiriusXM Satellite Radio - it is only $3.99 if you also subscribe to SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

Below is the current pricing shown for all of these services, although there is a chance that the prices will change by the time the 3-year trial on the SiriusXM data services is over (only 90-day trial on SiriusXM Radio Subscription)

    NavTraffic Pricing - SiriusXM Radio
    NavWeather Pricing - SiriusXM Radio
SiriusXM Travel Link Pricing - SiriusXM Radio

    SiriusXM Travel Link
    $1.99

    NavTraffic
    $3.99

NavWeather - with an active SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscription
    $3.99

    SiriusXM Travel Link + NavTraffic
    $5.99

    NavTraffic + NavWeather
    $7.00

NavTraffic + NavWeather + SiriusXM Travel Link
    $8.99

NavWeather - without an active SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscription
    $9.95

Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't notice the tiny button that allows you to choose the radio the first time I went to that page. I think they should have picked meaningful names for the services, such as XM Traffic, XM Weather, XM Travel Link, Sirius Traffic, Sirius Travel Link, and Sirius Backset TV so it is clear which services are available for which radios.

So it appears the SiriusXM Data Services for $8.99 is NavTraffic + NavWeather + SiriusXM Travel Link. There's no note indicating that it requires a SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscription, so I find it odd that it is less than NavWeather without an active SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscription. There is an * indicating that you must subscribe for at least 12 months if you don't have an active SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscription, but that seems to apply to all the prices. Perhaps NavWeather for $9.95 is actually a month-to-month price?

    Update:

Prius Team/Erica indicated that you get access to the Plug-in Hybrid Apps if you subscribe to SafetyConnect and not the Entune Apps..

Anyhow, it's looks like to get everything:
    $139.95 + 12*$5 + 12*$8.99 = $307.83
Then you have to add SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscription on top of that if you are interested (I am not).

Do you need to subscribe to nav traffic in order for your navigation screen to show traffic?
I Have a 2011 Prius 3 which i do subscribe for nav traffic.
I Just bought a 2013 prius package 4 with Entune JBL and green something. I have traffic now, but not sure if its because of the sirius 90 day free trial

.. update, looks like I have the display with nav.

All Entune access is included for 3 years with the Prius plug-in Advanced. You only need to setup your account at My Entune.

On top of this the Entune app suite is now free on vehicle that include this feature.

I am very confused about is what exactly is the "free Entune App Suite".

On the Advanced, there are some services that come via Sirius data, such as the on-map traffic data, stock quotes, sport scores. This is the three-year subscription. This was previously tied to the Entune subscription; one renewed with Toyota, not Sirius XM, for this service. How do we renew this now, since there is no "Entune" renewal anymore?

There are some Advanced Apps that come via the Advanced model's embedded Safety Connect cell phone, such as charge management, remote A/C, and vehicle locator. Maybe now this is just tied to one's Safety Connect subscription?

I suppose that one of the now-free apps is Pandora?

With respect to the Base model, is the traffic data now part of the "free" Entune service?
