It's being rolled out to different states depending on arrival ability. I think for once, Hawaii got it first (GO Hawaii!) and we get them in CA on March 12th. They are here already, but they are not being released till March 12th in CA.

My dealer is just north of San Francisco and say they don't show any C's coming to dealerships in norther Cal in March, April or beyond.

I read that Toyota planned to manufacture 12,000 for the Japanese market this year until 10 times that number have already been ordered so far. They say that will delay their ability to deliver cars in the US. Reading here that Honolulu customers are already taking delivery of theirs is interesting. Perhaps Southern Cal dealers will get them before ours do. Anyone in this area heard differently? With gas prices breaking records the demand for the C must be exploding in America.

I am supposed to be receiving the c models sometime around March 5th. Monday!
If I get them that morning, I'll be posting here to the c area in general.
Good thing the c forum isn't called the c section.

Dianne, are you selling the PRIUS C at MSRP?

I am sure with the current price of gas most Toyota
Dealers will be selling the Prius C with a $1,000 to
    $2,000 mark up over MSRP....

She *is* offering some kind of discount on her first batch (just see her thread on here), and they're not *all* accounted for. Sorry to burst your initial theory, though I am sure they will be hard to come by. :p

I am at MSRP on some and a bit under MSRP on others.
The gas card for $100 still stands, that's an extra Priuschat Perk too!

In Australia only 1200 units expected for this year.

Tried to buy red i-tech but none in country and only one due in next shipment.

Managed to get aqua colour through rural dealer and take delivery tomorrow.

From what I gather there is only a few white ones and dark colours available and these are scarce.

Most dealers quote 4 weeks plus for colour of your choice but that seems optimistic.

Also no accessories available either. Launch may have been premature.

It is sad to hear that it is difficult to get what you want.

BUT any company that is selling cars before they are made, is doing well.

They cant build them and store them (haha, except american cars)
so seing that they are selling like hotcakes, that is just what Toyota thought would happen.

It will also boost there overall sales, since alot do not want to wait..they will buy
a 3 gen or camry or highlander hybird.
Heck maybe even settle for a yaris or something
