    lol

I have a long drive uphill near my home that easily causes our G2 Prius battery to run down into the purple range unless the drive is managed by the driver. When it happens the ICE revs to loud volumes and the drop in torque is not subtle.

I have yet to experience the same in my CTh, although the difference may well be the larger ICE as much as programming

How did you get the values in the first photo to show? Mine always comes up with zeros.

Nice, 10 mins 3.3 miles drive. That's where the PHV shines.

first photo being the "EV Driving Ratio" one? I just hit the "disp" button on the steering wheel to cycle through displays to get to that one. Otherwise i didn't do nothing special. I don't think Advanced package makes a difference here.

Yeah the first day I did 3 long trips of about 35-40 miles which wound up accounting for most of the HV miles. The last 2 days i've been driving to work, 9 miles one way, and charging up as much as I can. So that accounted for most of the EV miles.

Once my wife takes over it'll be more HV than EV because her commute is 30 miles hwy with a few extra EV miles.

I think Lurk means the "last trip" data screen?

That screen just shows up after you turn off the car. Now that you mention it, I was to say it shows up when you turn the car off, but it goes away when the door is opened? If you turn the car back on, then off again, it would show all zeros because your last "trip" (turning on and off) was all 0.

For me that screen pops up every time i hit the power button upon finishing a drive. Yours displays zeros?

I probably am shutting down and then starting again to get the stats. Tomorrow I'll try it the right way.

Also, the EV.HV ratio screen 1 and 2 can be cleared by holding the trip button. It is not tied to Trip A or B, but works same way.

While I'm consuming 0 liters of gasoline to and from work with a preproduction PiP, which is 20km both ways, we did 130km today and consumed 3.2 liters/ 100km. I'm on a phone right now so I can' calculate, what mpg value is that. Oh yeah, we did 17km of pure EV at 70-100km/h.

Edit: =70mpg. We were fully loaded family.

I'm still learning but ... is there a screen that calculates MPG for you (ie total miles driven/total gas consumed)? I've been cycling through a lot of screens, nothing seems to give me that simple number I used to get automatically on the instrument panel for my 2004 Prius...the MPG for the tank of gas you just completed, resetting itself once you fill up again....

No - it made a big difference. The power from the electric engine was gone and the car had no pickup - quite dangerous if you are passing someone and all of a sudden you lose power big time.

There's just trip A and trip B, right? They have MPG. You also have 2 HV/EV ratio screens, 1 and 2. But I don't think they reset on their own. I think you have to manually reset them. I plan to use trip B for my tank average and trip A for whatever else. But when you shut off the car, you have the trip data too. Although that data disappears once you open the door I think.

My question is there a good place to mount a scanguage ? In my 06 I have it in the small cubby under the radio. I'm guessing as a last resort I can mount it on the rear view mirror.
