I'm going to post the pictures and steps I took to install my Advent OTOPRI1 unit. It is listed by Advent as a Toyota Prius OE-styled multimedia & navigation unit.

    Welcome to Advent

Since I'm not finding a lot of "free" time to post, here's another picture of the final installation with the backup cam on. Notice: You can see where I mounted the GPS antenna on the dash, next to the other sensor... (top-right side of picture)

How did you route the wire on top of the dash?
Was any of the dash parts removed to get it there?

Thanx for the write-up. Just curious, how much was the unit?

Sorry I haven't had any time to work on this post. I just gently ran the wiring down the edge of the dashboard and through the B-pillar on that side (just popped out the B-pillar a little; didn't completely remove it.) I then pulled out the stripping a little on the edge of the door (just a little) and ran the wire through and behind the lower glove box. It was very easy and the biggest tip is that I didn't remove anything completely. I was able to pull things apart just enough to fish the wire through.

I got a discount on this unit through a special deal my company has with Audiovox. I'm not sure I'm allowed to say what it cost me, but it put the unit in line with the pricing of other similar units. The device does appear to be OEM'd from FlyAudio.
