Yet another engine start condition!

    Funny you should ask.. now that I have the Plug-In, my co-workers expect me to drive, which, for the time being, I don't mind. However, today, since I wanted to get the Kill-A-Watt reading, I refused to drive to lunch.

    So to answer your question, it does not include going out to lunch :D

    No, I had 2km left of EV range.

    For the first part; I didn't feel the engine running and also the recharge bar was more full when I switched to B.

    208 Wh/mi with the charging loss is really good. How about the EV miles going back home, up 400 ft elevation? :D

    B mode does apply more aggressive regeneration, but not more than you can get with the brake pedal if you are willing to press it. The ultimate limit for regeneration is the same in both modes.
