Can anyone share any info on the leather install options on the base at Carson Toyota? I thought I saw pictures somewhere on this forum, but cant seem to dig it up on the search. If anyone else has any other pictures can you post them?

    thanks in advance.

You know that they can't match the color (two tone) exactly and it won't fit like the factory. They feel aftermarket as well.
Also factory is softex (polyester base) not leather now. (Radioactive cowhides from Fukushima) Recaro seats are way more ergo and comfortable and they make a mount for the prius. Have two in my vehicle.

Search "PiP Interior Replacement" and look for Tracksyde's photos posted there. His was done at Carson, and so was mine. I'm very pleased with the leather in my car, and it feels like the factory leather I had in my '06.
If you can't find the photos, maybe PM Tracksyde and ask him to send them to you. He has two tone, but I have a very dark charcoal solid (non-perforated) in mine.

Thanks a lot for helping me find that again. I really like the look of the 2-tone leather with perforation in the middle. My 2007 has factory perforated leather in the middle section too.
I wonder how the two tone would look if you reversed the color scheme with the dark tone in the middle section. My only though would be during the summer months, the dark leather can really soak up a lot of heat and burn the bum on a long commute home! so lighter in the middle seems to make more sense!
