Hi everybody! I'm starting to put together the Plug-in section of the PriusChat Shop and wanted to let you know that I've posted all of the OEM PiP-specific items already. So if you're looking for those special lower rocker moldings (which are awesome, in my opinion), or the all-weather mats that say "Plug-in" on them, check out the new section in the PC Shop:

    2012 Prius Plug-in Accessories : PriusChat Shop

Also, all of our products that say that they fit the 2012 Prius will also work in the 2012 Plug-in, as far as I am aware. I am copying many of those products over from the 2010+ Prius section, so if you don't see what you're looking for under the Plug-in area, check out that one:

2010+ Prius Accessories : PriusChat Shop

Thanks for your continued support of PriusChat through your purchases!

Nice! Mats are ordered - the cost only half of what the dealer wanted (he didn't have them in stock anyways).

The dealer floor mat option has MSRP of $225. But that includes the trunk mat.

But that's for the carpeted mats, not all weather, right?

Will the Scan Gauge II tool listed on the accessories page work for the Plug-In? I can imagine that there are special codes and such specific to the Plug-In.

    Yes.

I'll start a new ScanGauge thread under Plug-In and put some info out there.

I ordered the all-weather passenger floor mats when I took delivery of my Plug-in (on 3/3/12) but, according to my dealer's parts department, the Prius Plug-in luggage compartment mat is not yet available. Is it available now?

There is not a PiP-specific all-weather cargo mat in Toyota's system right now, and there is not one on the horizon that I know of. Probably best to go with the standard 2012 mat or the Weathertech option.

I highly recommend the Weathertech option.

But the WeatherTech site doesn't list the 2012 Prius when you try to find mats. Are the ones in the PCshop the WeatherTech?

The cargo lid over the storage area is different in the plug-in, so the regular mat might get in the way. Won't matter much unless you stow the charger cord every day. I've found the net already interferes with lifting the lid, so I may just go with one of the 2012 options described above.

Actually what I did was put the charging cable in a bag (an eco bag I got from a Toyota event) and keep it above the mat, so no more lifting- so the regular 2012 cargo mat might work..though I have the PIP mats.

So that's the carpeted PiP mat you have, right? I don't have the carpeted mats, but I'm guessing the carpeted cargo area mat would lift up more easily than the rubber version. If the all weather mat is like the one for 2011, the "fold" line will be located way past the lift up panel in the PiP.

I need help!! I need someone to take my Amex card away from me! I already spent over $500 dollars in accessories for a car that still at the dealership waiting for a truck to deliver it to my house.

    1) $120 on side mirror covers with turn signal and puddle lights.
    2) $53 dollars on a shark fin antenna (PC shop)
    3) $94 on all weather floor mats (PC shop)
    4) $119 dollars on European style mudguards (PC shop)
    5) $109 on a cargo mat (PC shop)

    * There is two more items on my list of accessories that I want to purchase.
    1) Premium Toyota horn- I am currently driving a 2012 TRAC Camry and I love the sound of the horn.
    2) The rear bumper applique

Great idea, I have two of the Toyota tote bags. I guess I have a purposeful use for them now.

Yeah, the horn on the PiP sucks. Every time I hear it, I think, "That's my horn? Oh, how lame..." :eek:hwell:
