Well, he had some posts back in '09. Probably not a troll.

These motors are known to develop oil consumption problems without notice, particularly at high mileage. The oil idiot light is named truly: if the light comes on, you are an idiot. Your motor will now burn oil like it is 1969 and the cat will croak soon enough. Check your oil level every 1000 miles at least.

I agree, 11k overdue on an oil change this is an unusual result. It's not good, but not uncommon for people to overshoot by this amount. Did you receive an oil pressure light before this happened and if so did you react to it by shutting down immediately?
Honestly, 16k is NOT that bad on an oil change. It's certainly overdue in all but the most unusual combination of oil and filter, but 7500-10,000 is pretty common for an oil change these days (even if generally it's on synthetic).

But you said you ran out of oil at this amount. All the cars I've owned would not consume oil at a rate that leaves them nearly empty at 16k, so it's unusual for it to drink that much and/or had a small leak, I'd guess.

Basically talking about spoliers, rims, and the loudest stereo you can install. Very much into appearance, not a care in the world about maintenance.

I'm telling you people, tire pressures and fluid checks every fill up. It takes 2 minutes. Stuff just happens.
