i was reading popular mechanics today and with their test on a ford they drove 55 mph and got 47 mpg and at 70 they got 33 mpg.I knew their was going to be a savings at 55 but never thought it would be that great.
guess i will slow down and see what i can do with my 2010 Prius.
I have been driving hybrids since 05 but normally drive with the flow traffic.I may not slow down to 55 on I 75 but have lots of time and going to stay in the right land and slow down but not enough to be a pest to others.

Aerodynamic drag increases by the square of airflow speed. If you double the speed, you have four times as much drag. If you triple the speed you have nine times the drag. Speed kills, at least for mileage.

    LOL !

Maybe it could be the next big thing in performance enhancement. Put some in your fuel tank.
