    I took part at the annual WEKFEST Auto Import Show in San Francisco on February 18, 2012 !!!

    Had a great time up there in Nor Cal sharing HBII at the Air Runner Suspension Systems Booth with Everyone !!!

    Many thanks to Robert aka SC24VR6 here on Prius Chat for allowing me to borrow his Work Schwert Wheels for the Show !!!

    Awesome, Darrel (fckshoes) owns that white GTI on mercedes wheels from that video. Have you met him, I'm from PA, but he's been apart of our car club for a few years.

    Thanks IMEANGREEN !!!

    I removed the Rear Spoiler and had it painted at Imperial Body Shop in La Habra, So Cal.

    At the time I also had them shave/fill in the holes for the rear emblems as well and had that repainted to match too.

    I also had the front license plate holes shaved/filled in and repainted the front bumper.

    I like the smooth look !!!

    Rodney,

    I know I must be missing something but,

    Why coulden't you just ground the brake wire behind the Headunit.
    I have installed a generic chinese headunit and all i had to do was ground one wire and everything works DVD and NAV while in motion.

    Hope you all have been doing great !!!

    I completed the latest Modification to the HBII Prius !!!

    I ordered and installed the JDM Toyota original part : Headlight Garnish aka the Eyelids !!!

    I had searched Ebay for this item and found it !!!
    (If you are interested feel free to do a search and purchase one too !!!)
    (This item was well worth the price as it is an original JDM Toyota original part made of Polyurethane material .. NOT Fiberglass !!!)

    Here's my story ...

    After purchasing, the item arrived in about a week !!!

    The item (when contacting the seller you must inform them of your paint code / color) came already painted !!!

    Installation instructions ...

    PLEASE NOTE:

    This item is installed on my 2010 Prius with the Halogen Non LED headlamp housings. Because of this, I had to make the following modifications for this item to fit perfectly. I cannot be responsible for any installation conflicts that you may have should you decide to purchase this item !!!

    As indicated in the RED BOX below, my headlamp has the airflow "bump" on top, this needs to be REMOVED/SHAVED DOWN in order for the Eyelid to sit flat and flush.

    With the help of my friend and his Dremel, we shaved the airflow "bump" ...

    When the airflow "bump" was shaved down, shavings from the process were blown out with the use of an air compressor. Then there is a hole that remains where the airflow "bump" was. This must be sealed in order to prevent dirt/water from seeping in !!!

    The method I used utilized Drywall Tape and All Weather Silicone.

    Drywall Tape and Silicone Applied ... I allowed this to cure and seal for the next 48 hours.

    The Eyelids were then ready to be installed. It comes with Double Sided Tape on back for easy installation !!!

    Please note that your parking light above the headlights will not be visible anymore. In my case I had installed the parking light/daytime running light below the headlamps (under the housing) to replace this !!!

    I've not seen these installed here on the US Models before and wanted to give it a try !!!

    They're not for everyone, but I have to admit I personally like the way they look in person rather than in pictures !!!

    Why are you screaming!!! ha ha, jk ;) I really like that eyelid mod..It really tones down the obnoxious size of the head light and adds a cool aerodynamic look to it :cool:
