    reversing camera included, swank.

also, I like these accessory mags:

for keeping crocs or kangaroos away from your brake rotors apparently. but they do look really cool. they're in the accessories section of the aussie prius c website.

Ah, no. We pronounce it "Pree-us", the poms pronounce it Pry-us though.

Sorry I used that silly font before in my earlier post, I haven't been on Priuschat for what seems like an eternity. :)

I can't remember the Prius being marketed in the UK (I left in 2007), so I wouldn't know. Grumps would be able to say how it's marketed. I've always called it a Preeus, but that might have been because I knew about it from its popularity with Merkins.

However, Preyeus would make sense in the UK given the pronunciation of "a priori" and that the Prius name comes from Latin.

I forgot to mention, everytime Jeremy Clarkson (Top Gear UK) disses on the Prius, he calls it a Pry-us.

    Both are used.

I call mine a Pree-us and most people I know call it that too. I could be wrong, and it might be an area thing, but I'm sure Pree-us is the more common of the two names.

It could be that Pry-us is used by some (but definitely not all) in a derogatory way and often said in an obviously fake American accent. The Hollywood elite jumping on the hybrid bandwagon in the early days didn't do the hybrid cause much good this side of the Atlantic. The hypocrisy of having a massive house, private jet and driving a hybrid to make it all ok.
