Sorry tried using the "Sticky fog light Set forum" but with little or no success. Does anyone know or has done this already and knows the exact wire to tap into so that the fog lamps will only work when the low beams or regular lights are used. If a relay is needed where does it go and which one to get? Virginia state law will not pass inspection if fog lamps work when high beams are used. I have no clue which wire to tap into or how to go about it. Thank you!

It's the pink wire under your steering wheel that goes into the headlight/turn signal stock. I believe I just installed mine yesterday. Go on sparks Trd site find the lights and they have a PDF install guide. But mine came with 2 relays compared to other kits I've seen, 1 under the hood with a fuse block and one under the dash. That's why I bought the sparks kit. Ad they warranty it for 12 months if u install or the remainder of your 36k if a dealer installs.

Can you post a link to the PDF install guide please.

Crap! It looks like I bought the wrong fog lamps. The one's from Priuschat store don't install like that. The ones from TRD Sparks Toyota install also to the steering column area to work only with the low beams.

Anybody else that bought the kit from Priuschat store get them to work only when the low beams come on and off when the high beams are used?

It won't work because it only has 1 relay. The foglight system PC store is selling was not designed to work that way.

That is why i spent, $15 bucks more and got it from a Toyota dealer. And they warranty it for 12 months if you install or the remainder of you 3yr 36k if a dealer installs. Good luck, i hope you can figure it out.

Finally! Somebody answered my question thank you so much. Unfortunately like an idiot I already purchased the wrong fog lamp kit from the PC store thinking this is the one to buy. I may try and return it and start over. I wonder if I can just disconnect it from the fuse box when I take it in for inspection and tell them my fog lamps are for cosmetic appearance only. (I doubt whether they would buy that lame accuse)

I doubt whether they'll look in the fuse box.
