I would certainly keep it and keep driving it. But there would definitely be a new Tesla S Sedan coming to join it.

    I don't think so.

I'd drive my BEV and my wife would drive her PHEV (and she doesn't like Prius so it wouldn't be a PiP) when she's not driving whatever the old sports car it is she'd really want.

I would keep the prius and mod the heck out of it. Custom paint, add a super booming system, tighten the suspension, insulate the doors. Tint the windows.

I wouldn't even be seen driving my Prius, I'll have my paid stunt double driving a stunt double Prius that looks like my Prius. That way they wouldn't see me driving MY Prius (with its whole shell has been dipped in gold and accented with diamonds).

Nobody has thought of the obvious!

You could bail out GM next time and insist their new 'eco' model was based on the Prius :)

Hell no. I drive a Prius because it is dependable budget friendly transportation. Rich means toys. Just being honest.

Not only would I buy a Plug-in with the winnings, I would offer to purchase any hybrid/EV for close family.

Then again, I would probably also have a Lexus hybrid in the garage.

I would have kept our Prius but several new cars would also fill my new 20 car garage in my new house. :D Too bad I didn't win. ;)

    You chose a 350 over the 338hp, 31(combined)mpg 0-60mph in only 5 seconds LS450h ?!?
No WONDER you didn't win the lotto . . . no faith.
    ;)
    Thanks in advance, my brother.

Someone asked me yesterday if I'd keep the Prius after winning the mega. My answer was yes, in the garage next to my twin turbo Lamborghini Reventon.

After I purchased my ticket, I was daydreaming on my commute. It's okay, the car knows which way to go. I was picturing the construction of my new estate with the retro style gas station in the back forty, the airstrip and hanger, the garages for my toys.

Needless to say, I wouldn't have been too worried about mpg but I'd still have a Prius. It would be a top of the line Plug In Prius with all the buttons though.

I don't see the plug-in for that Reventon, is it on the other side? Induction recharge under the faux antique garage space that has a huge solar panel array on the roof? :)

You mean, the Reventon isn't electric at all. Oh, no!

Love to see what the though of money brings out. Pretty interesting stuff!;)

All this desire for excess is shameful. All you want is faster cars, and more of them? Nobody's going to buy a coal mine and shut it down? Invest in sustainable power plants? Buy large tracts of forest, kick out the lumber companies, and declare them nature preserves? Donate to environmental groups?

It's rather sad to see that our biggest dreams don't extend past ourselves.

One of the reasons I like my electricity company is that the guy who runs it does what he believes in for the benefit of the environment as well as make a profit.

Ecotricity - the green energy company, supplier and generator of eco electricity and gas

Any profit is put back into making new forms of renewable energy to sell. They have big wind parks, new solar PV parks where spare land is turned over to a wildlife habitat, have opened the UK's first national EV charging network which is FREE to use for ecotricity customers, they're the first to offer 'green' natural gas and intend on building new anarerobic digestion plants for this reason, have invested in new wave technology and come top (or near the top) for customer service.

The boss is also a commited Vegan (ok, not my cup of tea but he has strong belief in this) and has insisted that all food now sold at the football (soccer) club he has bought is firstly vegetarian with a view to eventually becoming vegan.

I would hope if I won the lottery big time, I'd be inspired by him.

At some point, eventually, we will all have to get serious about this energy thing. Very cool that there are projects moving along in a positive direction in a few spots around the globe. Much more to come.

Re: Grumpie Cabbie... I know what you mean about tea. I spent a month many years ago on your island and discovered and enjoyed the best tea (and fish and chips!).
