Were they purchased by Dianne (and not Toyota)? She really goes out of her way to treat her customers well!

Toyota should do the same... and send each of us new PiP owners a really nice charge cable bag (or a storage case, which would be even nicer).

Funny, the ones that came with the Prototypes had a bag:

We upgraded the portable EVSE's (charge cords) last year for some company (who will remain nameless) and all of them had bags.

The EVSE for the prototype was a little different, but both are made by Panasonic and have almost identical internals:

I'm still mad about not getting a charge cable bag: Today was the first day it has been raining when I was charging. What a mess! All kinds of dirt and sand sticks to the charge cable when it is out in the rain. I had to take a garbage bag from work to put it in to keep my new car from getting all if this debris.

I agree. I was honestly disappointed when I didn't find a bag. I had a bit of a mess the first time I charged in the rain too. We can all find some old towel but is this the image desired? Maybe it could be part of our pre-order gift bag???

Rain is by far the worst. It is amazing how much dirt gets splattered on the cord.

Nice! I would pay $50 for that bag!

The dark color color matches the PiP's interior perfectly!

(And, as my wife would say, "Color coordination is the key to happiness"). :)

I found the perfect bag for my charging cable, it happened to be sitting in my garage. It's a Bosch canvas tool bag. I think I got it on eBay a while back but it's still available online. The cable fits nicely and it's plenty rugged.

The part number is: Bosch 2610914300

About a month ago, I was hanging out at LA Live where Toyota was doing giveaways. They were showing off the Prius c and the Prius v, and as part of the promotion, they were giving away red Toyota water bottles and tote bags. I was wondering what I was going to do with that bright red tote bag at the time. Now I know, once I get my hands on the PiP, it'll be my cable carrying bag.

I really would like to have my bag references Toyota (even better would be one that also says 'Plug In Prius' on it). I wonder if there are any on eBay.

Not all of em'... The one I had for the week had the bag stolen by the time it made its way to me lol. Maybe for the better because had I known my purchased PiP didn't come with one I may have been the one to lift the bag from the demo model.
