You should drive a c the next time you get the chance. It's a much better car than I though it would be by far. Very tight and well put together. Feels solid on the road. Found the MPG capabilities way better than EPA figures.

 

Since you already have a nice Hybrid it would be cost prohibitive to get a C unless that is not important and you want a new car and don't care? The mileage is better but you would save very little over what you have? Just curious?

 

This is the only down I've noticed. On slightly bumpy roads, my glove box/instrument area rattles. Drives me crazy.

Are you keeping a lot of stuff loose in the glove box? That instrument area shouldn't be rattling on rough roads.

When I test drove the c, we had to cross two sets of railroad tracks, one of them had 3 sets of rails that are always rough. That's where I decided that the car was very tight. Nothing rattled.

 

In my car, it's the stuff i keep in the glovebox that occasionally rattles.

 

Rattles are a problem on many Prius liftbacks, partly because the flying bridge tends to twist the dash assembly when the body flexes going over rough roads. The C shouldn't be as bad, but the plastics are still lightweight and inherantly more prone to vibrations than thick padded dashes.
