I've been using the navigon app on my iPhone in my previous car (with no built in nav) and by far the best feature of the app is that it will automatically decrease the volume of any music playing through the iPhone when a voice guidance is announced. Unfortunately, I don't think the same feature is possible with the built I nav in the c. What's worse, if I have DSP enabled then sometimes the voice prompts are too quiet when the car increases my music volume if I'm driving.

Anyway I've only had the c for two days, so do any more experienced owners have any thoughts/tips? I suppose it'd be the same for any toyota owners with the display nav audio system.

The Nav volume is independent of the main audio volume. I learned this the hard way after I cranked it up! I would only tweak it up a bit. Oh, congrats on the C by the way! I just passed 2,000 miles in mine.

Does anyone know what the voice command is to navigate to an address saved in my iPhone's contact list?
