Thanks firemechanic that is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Very tasteful and well done mod. Can you shoot some video and post it up? I would love to hear it in action.

YouTube would probably be the easiest way. What would you say the approximate cost of this install was? Would you be willing to post a list of parts required and instructions at a later date?

I will put a parts list together and give a little more detail on the install.

Any tips/instructions for removing the front bumper? I have a project in mind and need to know how to remove the front bumper.

Just completed this mod and it took less than 30 minutes. I used the Fiamm 72112 and 72102 purchased from Amazon.

By golly, firemechanic is one fellow that takes his horns seriously!!! Looks good- and very unique.

I just did the Fiamm horn install via evpv's instructions. Thanks for the photos!

Sounds a lot nicer- might do this to our Civic, too.

Are the FIAMM horns large? For some reason, Amazon won't ship them to Hawaii.

Not at all... I got them in a small box, similar to what you might get for a large hardcover book. Can't imagine why there would be a shipping restriction on that, unless they don't ship most items there for cost reasons...

I've received stuff from Amazon via free shipping as large as a stand up bicycle rack for the garage, four 20" bicycle tires, etc.. I don't know why there is a shipping restriction on the two FIAMM horns?

Amazon will not ship the High note freeway blaster horn to my address (Hawaii) for some reason. I Found these replacement horns at my local NAPA autoparts store:

I will probably be installing them this Saturday. :)

NAPA part numbers are: 7301056 (Low Note) and 7301057 (High Note) rated at 132 dB each. The online tool indicates they fit my 2011 Prius. It is interesting to note that FIAMM is molded directly into the horn housings and the package clearly states, "Manufactured for Balkamp, Inc."

There are also less expensive horns rated at 125 dB on the site, these are designated as "trumpet series", whereas the two listed above are designated "freeway blaster". The part numbers for the 125 dB trumpet series are: 7301054 (Low Note) and 7301055 (High Note).

The 132db horns will be significantly louder than the 125db ones. A 7db difference equates to 3x the output.

Honestly, those look EXACTLY like the Fiamm ones. I believe the Fiamm ones are 132dB and designated as "freeway blaster". Even the packaging looks the same, including the "E" and "F" lettering in the corners.

I installed mine last night, thanks to this thread. Took me 45 min. and I scraped up my arm, but so far I'm very happy with them. For $25 shipped from Amazon, I think they're awesome.

Nice catch, tsair regarding the E and F letter designation on the packaging. I had to pay $33 for my horns, but I thought better of dealing with an East Indian customer service representative for Amazon to see if they could in fact ship both horns to my address. The site indicated the low note horn could, but the high note horn could not. Go figure...
