I tested the custom PIDs for GenII and GenIII but not all is workings some of the value seem to be wrong, not sure if they are compatible?

    Hi ghwong,

Prius C is new and different from GenII and GenIII, the PIDs are most likely not compatible.

The list may need to be created from scratch. For a start, you can try to get the PID Map from this link.

I've checked your log. It seems that you have only logged single word for each block. Each block actually consists of double word; High word and Low word.

I'm using torque application to log the PID map.. How can I go about to log the high and low word?

It is the same app, you need to select what to log. Pls see Tracksyde's example.

Figured out what happened, the PID name is too long, thus torque tot it was duplicateion and only show 1 of it (High/Low).
Modified the test file you gave by shortening the name and logged again.. this time all is collected.

All the data seem to repeat because all the ECUs are showing the same mapping!

Can you try doing one ECU at a time or use ShortName for logging?

I used the screen-shot method instead of logging, this time the respond are not repeated..

Thanks ghwong:) I've emailed the draft spreadsheet for your testing. Do feedback which is not working and I 'll help to trouble-shoot using the screen-shot method.

Thanks a lot Vincent. I will test it out and update tonight, there seem to be a lot of unfamiliar term in the PIDs any guide or reference on the parameters to have a better understanding?

Take your time, there is no need to rush. The PIDs were based on the Repair Manual for GenIII since the RM for Prius C is not available yet. You can find most of it in there but a lot of the info. are classified under TMC Intellectual Property. Nevertheless, you can just shoot your questions and someone may know the answer, that is what forums are for.:)

Wow... that is a very huge file and info from the service manual... Thanks..
I'd tested the custom PIDs and make screenshot of the raw values collected, most of it is working but I'm not sure if the values is correct or not. Some of the temp value is 0, notice that the vehicle speed is not working as well but the wheel speed is ok.
I'd emailed the screenshot and was thinking what is the best way to logged all the PIDs to check...
Torque logging is quite tedious as need to add 1 param at a time.. can't multi-select..
    Thanks..

As expected, some of the values are incorrect. Could you use the Test PID method to get me the header+data?

    2 2149 7E0
    3 2101 7E2

    ghwong,

In the Equation, you can just put A and hit the Test button to get that Response.

    Hi Mario,

    Thanks for volunteering to help!

The file for ghwong is for Singapore version and may be slightly different from yours. Which country are you from? Could you send me the PID Map first?
