Who wants to help me choose a wheel?
I'm currently looking at options that have some gray/anthracite/gunmetal in them to go with my soon-to-be Winter Gray 5.
Check out the pics and let me know what you think!

Nice set of wheels to choose from(design-wise). Ironic, I was so close to buying the 17" Focal F10 from Tirerack, that or the Motegi SP 10 in Hyperblack. Seeing it graphic on pix(photoshop or not) & not on their website, I don't like it quite as much(Focal). My vote is for the Momo, I think it looks pretty damn HOT:rockon:.

I like the Focal F10. It resembles a hollowed out version of the OE 17s. Kinda cool and not too busy.

    indeed.

The FF7´s keep staring at me...I think it is only because the color of the car. If you would have a different color car...I would go with the F10´s.

Out of those you've listed, Focal F10 for sure. The MOMOs and FF7 look too busy IMO.

I like the Focal F10 the most but those are a heavier wheel from what I was looking for. I do love the style though. ;)

    The Focal. More elegant.

Does it come in a 15"for the original size tire? How much did they cost?

I know! That was one of his threads i came across yesterday no longer containing any pics. Aaaarggggh!

Ya, the color draws me to the motegi ff7, but i like some of the other wheels because the spokes go right to the edge, making the wheel appear larger. The Focal still has the gunmetal color, it's just more subtle.

I'm not sure on available size, my stock wheels are 17".
But in 17" they are only around $100 each, making them the cheapest wheel of the bunch... which actually worries me a bit.

  12. Hey d2mini,

Here are some pics of PriusBoom's setup. Hope it helps with your wheel search :D

I'd have to say those wheels look better without the colored center caps (shown in the OP) and would be the way to go on Silver. The PLUS wheels, on the other hand, seem to be the perfect wheels on Winter Gray, especially if you replace the stock taillights with Valenti HC or light smoke Spec-D Tuning tails.

Those are the ones you should be looking at. :D

    ha! Thanks chief!
And ya, the center caps bothered me too, but that's easily rectified.

As far as other suggestions, I need to keep the price down to under $200/wheel. ;)

Look into Buddy Club racing rims. Super light and inexpensive, but popular among the Honda crowd.

  17. Anytime. That PriusBoom guy sorta left in a hurry. Good ole internet history saved those pics though.

Thanks for the suggestion, but now that I look at those... not feeling it.

    Here's my inspiration.
I think these cars are pretty tight.
I was gonna order the TOMS body kit but realized the front bumper probably won't fit the 2012's correctly. :(

You seem more concerned about brands than what actually looks good on the Prius.

There will be new kits that complement the restyled 2012 front fascia better. Suggest you wait for them.
