I have had my Prius for about 3 weeks now, still getting used to it, but loving it.
    Here are two quick questions
1.) The fan for the solar roof (on the left) i can't tell if it's on or off. i don't see an indicator. I want it to be on all of the time. How do i do that?
    2) is there any quick way to turn off the nav? say when you are close to a destination, and know where you are. seems like there would be a stop nav button on the main screen, but i have to go back two levels to pause. I want to live!
    thanks

Not sure about the first question. I have the same question!

For the NAV, you have to tell it to delete the destination to get it to stop.

In the "on" position, the switch is detented inward about an eighth of an inch. You can feel it easier than seeing it as you depress the switch. One person had put some red tape on the console frame just below the switch to make it easier to see that it was on.
Don't forget, in order for it to work, you have to select the "on" position before you shut the car down.

I'm curious - does everyone here just leave the fan turned on here, during the summer or are people just using it when parked outside and during the afternoon?

I'm preparing for when I pick up our new car tomorrow with the mooonroof. :)

When the fan is on you can hear it when you enter the car. In fact, just walk up to the windshield area and you can hear the fans sucking air into the car. It has not been hot here yet but even with outside temps in the 60s the system will start. That means the interior temp has rose above the 65degree setting. I really like the system!

I leave it on all summer and only turn it off if it's dusty or someone's BBQ'ing nearby.

It's a two position switch. Slightly recessed when it's on.

    1. Just press the SPVS button located to the left of the steering wheel. You can leave it depressed all year if you want.

    2. As in cancel the destination?

    Opt 1.
Press ROUTE --> Delete --> (If it's the only destination) Yes.

    Opt 2.

Press the VOICE button, after the beep say "Delete all destinations". It will ask "delete all destinations? Say yes or say cancel to end voice recognition without deleting destinations". Say "Yes".
