At the time of the picture I didn't have the front windows tinted. But I currently have them at 50% front and 5% back.

Checkin in from Loudon, TN - add me to the list.
2012 HBThree. Just had the windows tinted today. They're 15% but look darker because I just took the picture late in the day.
I installed the satin chrome door strips last weekend - took about 15 minutes, 10 of which was cleaning the door surface for the trim to adhere. $135 shipped from eBay. Dealer wanted a couple of hundred.
Next will be wheels. Below are the ones I picked up locally. The tires are new and the wheels are perfect (with TPSm already installed), but I'd really rather trade them for stock HBfive 17"s. That post is in the For Trade Classifieds. If I don't sell the wheels of trade soon, I'll just put them on as they do look good on the car - better than the hubcaps IMO.

    @ gsodonis

    Very nice!

If you don't mind me asking- how much did they charge for the tint job?

Like the door strips- I'm wondering how they'd look with my body side moldings?

Tint was $200 out the door. 3M film. Lifetime warranty from a shop that's been in business a long time so I known they'll be there if I ever need service. I've had tints done for $145 before but those shops are no longer in business.

I guess that makes me #117 (I think...)

I've had "Casper" for exactly one week now. Just installed HIDs and had the windows tinted yesterday. Oh, and removed the frisbees and installed center caps too. :D

Got mine on Tuesday, but I'll gladly be #119! :( Plus - sorta feeling like an idiot now. Looking on the forum it seems I'm one of the few schmoes that went with the Five rather than the Four, and now I'm hitting myself over the head, thinking I probably could have gotten a Four and just bought 17-inch wheels and LED lights after-market. I'm presuming it's a non-starter to be able to install that package or even return it to the dealer for a Four. Am I right on that? In any case, here's my new baby - her name is 'Gidget'!

Ugh - what the heck?! I uploaded the image to priuschat, but when trying to include it in this post I'm getting this error message: "You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 5 posts or more. If you have a link to a news item or tip that you would like to share, please use the Contact link at the bottom right of this page."

Being that the URL *is* from priuschat this makes absolutely NO SENSE. Definitely not my day.

Rock on Big Steve enjoy your new Prius, #118 it is!

So what Nerdalert is it BP or not? (member number pending)

Congrats on your new Prius Five you are BB # 119 and no you are not a idiot but I am biased. You would have to get the whole LED headlight assy. you can't retrofit the ones on the Two-Four to accept the guts for the ones on the Five. I would hate to know much $ Toyota wants for the LED headlight assy. As far as I am concerned the OE Five 17" wheels are magic, I still get over 50 MPG. The stock 17's are expensive new but you can find used ones in good condition. If you were to get non OE 17" your MPG may suffer slightly, all depending on their shape and weight of course. You can't post links or pics until you get 5 posts. You named your car after a flying nun?

My dealer was happy to make a swap. He could show it as "No sale" if you get to him right away before Toyota records it if that is how you financed.

He's still holding a IV for me that we might swap for my III after 20th if I have to start commuting further for work.

Only thing you are missing with the V is the solar roof which is nice. You have other toys though with the radar cruise, lane keeping.

But tell dealer ASAP. If they are good, they'll likely be able to swap.

    Congrats!
How do you like the look of the 17" wheels?
The black grille looks sweet with the integrated fog-lights, doesn't it?
