I know there is a prior thread on these mirrors but after some thought I figured I would post my install videos. The original post is listed below.

DIY JDM style side mirrors combo lights (Signal+Parking+Courtesy lights) | PriusChat

I'll update the post to show the right side connections for everyone. The only thing that is connected on the right side is the right turn signal. As I ran the puddle light and pilot light wires to the drivers side to connect with the left side. Just ran the wires under the dash. You'll see in the video when I get it uploaded today. Hope this helps everyone! :D

While I was under the dash on the drivers side and saying "dome light" I meant to say foot well light that's orange, sorry about that guys.

Alright instructions: The wire lay out for pilot/turn signal lights
Blue wire, red wire and black
Blue wire is your "pilot light" red is for "turn signal" and black is your common ground for each. As you can see in my video I've connected the blue wire to a "brown" wire on the ecu. It's the only brown wire in that connector and you can see it in the video. I then routed the right side pilot light wire over to the left side and connected the two. Again you can see that in the video. The common ground between these three wires (blue, red, black) which is the black wire. Which was connected to the car ground again you can see that in the video. Now the turn signal wire (red one) was connected to the yellow wire coming out of the connector in the video. You are able to verify the wire by simply turning on your turn signal or hazards and seeing if the voltmeter jumps as the lights turn on. On the right side I placed the common ground on the frame and connected the red wire to the green wire. The green wire is in the same place as the yellow one on the left side. I'll post a video of that to show the wire. Now the puddle light wires.

Alright instructions: The wire lay out for puddle light
    Black and white wires
Black wire is going to connect to the A frame "blue" wire. As said before there is only one blue wire to connect to in the A frame and that's the one. The white wire, which I ran to the foot well lighting, needs to be connected to a 12v+ continuous source. I used the foot well light because that is what you guys suggested and of course it worked. I tapped the wire and connected the right and left sides for the puddle light. The black wire from the right side was also routed over to the left side and connected to the blue wire.

You can review the 60 something pages to get an idea of how the others did the install. I'm a visual learner and figured these videos will be helpful to others. :D

Finally got my mirror covers from MIT. Painting was perfect - no blemishes. Can't wait to install it but will do a 2 stage install. Will T-tap wirings first double checking it's functionality with multi meter to make sure T-taps are marked and are working properly then install the mirrors. Thanks Philatc for the video. It will surely make it easier for me.

Not a problem! I figured a video would help us all out. To be honest you could get it all done in one shot. The lights being installed on the mirrors was the longest part. Trying to not break anything and don't take off the sticky glue tape stuff that holds the mirror on the bracket.

Finally finished the mod. The only different thing I made was to tap the white wire for the puddle lights to the courtesy door lights and added a switch for the parking light. I followed your suggestion of tapping the blue wire from the A pillar. I think it was the easiest. I attempted to tap the blue wire near the ECU but space was tight. Thank you Philatc and CivicSky and others who made this worthwhile project possible.

Are the original mirror covers hard to pop off w/o messing them up?

Are the ones selling on Sigma the same as linked via Ebay? Ebay ones are much cheaper. Wonder if there is any differences as it looks like both come from asia?

I already ordered the combo lighted mirror and have a question. I saw your puddle light came on when you approached your car but when I approach my 2012 Prius V + ATP, I don't see any light from my car, so I wonder if your car courtesy light come on when you come close to the car?

Yes it does. It only does it when the car is locked. So try locking your prius from a distance and watch for the interior lights turning on as you approcah the vehicle.

The one from sigma comes with a gasket or some sort of seal as seen in post #401. The one from MIT accrssories or the enbay seller does not. I got mine from MIT. It does not come with a gasket as seen in post #401 http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...lights-signal-parking-courtesy-lights-41.html but i don't have any issues with whistling noise. The sigma may have better quality with painting. The one from MIT may have some painting issues but minor as complained by some other members. LOVE MINE from MIT.
