Power side mirror for V

    I am a first time owner of a Prius, just got my Classic Silver V five last week and its been exciting. Traded in my '07 BMWX5. Was sad to see it go but it has started to fade from my memory, thanks to the V!

    Overall the ride has been great as have been the gadgets. The res on the V non AT couldve been better, the text is quite fuzzy and the logic/ interface design can be vastly improved.

    One big thing that I really want on mine are the power side mirrors with the side light flashers. The JDM type side mirrors seem to be the right fit per some the very extensive DIY on some other threads. Has anyone retrofitted these on the V? And is there a variant available which also incorporates a power fold in similar to the CT 200h.

    I just purchased a set of panel removal tools ready for the side mirror combo light that I haven't order yet. I will be happy for the lighted mirror and don't expect the power fold-in available here any time soon. I only hope that I can finish the job myself within one day because the only thing that worries me is to find all the correct wires to connect to the light unit in the mirror. I did search for the Prius V service manual but no luck so I expect to do a lot of testing and searching for the right wires.
