Introducing the Blizzard Brigade

I got 99 problems (#99) but a Blizzard Pearl aint one Hit ME!

 

Okay, existential crisis over! I was just having last-minute kvetching of tech-envy and grass-is-greenerism. I am really happy with the car, it drives like an absolute dream, and that's from someone who's coming from an '04 Prius. I'm amazed at what a sweet ride it truly is. I'll be spending the next few weeks bonding with it, i.e. getting the garage door coded, learning the verbal commands, etc. Fun!

And no, I didn't name her after a flying nun. I just happened to like the name!

I did have a test of the PCS - I was using the DRCC on the highway, and changed lanes onto the exit ramp. I was coming up relatively quickly behind another vehicle and I thought the DRCC would adjust. (kept my foot just above the brake just in case) I guess the approach was quick, because all of a sudden the car started beeping and braked strongly but really smoothly, and then gradually adjusted my distance to again track the car in front. Didn't touch the brake the whole time! Was really impressed by that.

 

All right so post some pics. Talk is cheap.

I just finished pimping my Pearl, mud flaps, upper and lower body side moldings.

 

Is your lower molding black or is that just the lighting?

 

It's chrome.

But black would be good. I like the black/white color scheme. The all black roof looks good.

You can see the chrome better in this pic of Allande's PIP which is where I got the idea for putting on those body side molding.

That is what I wanted to ask too. The black color lower moulding looks really great.

 

It's chrome from the factory (Toyota part) but you could certainly get a body shop to do a quality black paint job on it.

 

Looks GREAT! I'm kinda biased though.

Um, I tried to on my very first post, but was forbidden by the site because I had not posted at least five times. (even though the image was already uploaded into a priuschat album, duh) However, I believe this makes my fifth, so pic is forthcoming!

Look at the front bumper in that picture. It looks like it has been repainted. :confused
