Remarks: Best tank ever (summer gas?). Temps have been 70-80 for the most part, requiring some light A/C use. 65% city/35% highway, no freeway.

Remarks: Bought cheap independent gas station gasoline because my regular station was closed for maintenance. Did it introduce more of an MFD error of almost 6%? More use of A/C, 30% city, 70% Freeway. Avg speed 33 mph. Installed vent shades.

Remarks: Mostly wife driving it on tough, super-hilly freeway with long, fairly steep inclines. No ethanol for that tank, too.

I am not making a normal post this time for the FE Stats. I will just post a pic form the MFD after coming back from my commute today. The planets aligned, I left later today to the office and got back late as well - and my Prius made me a gift, even driving through hilly Munich... :)

(today I have seen gas sold at 1.64€/L = about 9.12$/gal - I don't think it will never go below 1.5€/L again - I have this bad feeling about it).

48 mpg is a new low for me...and my overall MPG has dropped from 60.9 mpg to 59.6 mpg... LOL.:p

I was clocking 82 mph to 77 mph on the GPS ( which was registering about 1 mph slower than the Prius' speedometer) on I-70 via Indiana- Illinois and Ohio. If I had gone any faster the state highway patrol would have shut me down. :)

Unless I'm called to shuttle kids around for after school camp  - I'll be busy pushing my overall MPG back up to 60 mpg and trying to get +70 mpg per tank. :D

I can't hold 70mpg for a tank. I'm only aiming for 60mpg (I've gotten close at 4.1 or 58mpg). Traffic here wants to go, go, go.

Again I will not please Tideland, but I am posting only a partial, yet for me surprising FE for April - not a full tank, but a record fuel consumption on my way back on my usual commute route yesterday - this car never stops to surprise me...
    Read it all here.

lol. No worries Pakitt, I don't force anyone to post here. These threads were meant to help newbies in case they wanted to see how other people fared in similar months to account for seasonal changes (e.g. someone picking up their car in November wonders why their mileage is crap vs. someone picking up their car in April and is ecstatic that mileage off the bat is superb)

My best tank stats. yet, although this was only my 12th fill-up. Still I always feel disappointed at the difference between the MFD number and the Calc'd mpg.
I am still learning how to pulse and glide and with the nicer weather on the horizon expect to see better numbers with each fill-up, down the road.
