Did you have to get snow tires for your bicycles?

 

Our rain here in Spokane becomes the snow in Minnesota. Here is my "Piper" just after getting goodies added and earlier sitting in the showroom at delivery. Opps, they came out backwards.

Here's a pic we took today in front of my wife's work. She just got our ChargePoint card added to her work's free charging network. She likes it because she gets upfront parking and a free charge. I like it because the plug-in spots are wider than other parking spots (less likely for dings, hopefully...).

Also, it makes it a little easier knowing she's getting a free charge on days she takes my car to work (for the carpool lane sticker).

 

Is that Apple's campus? About how many charging stations do they have there?

 

Here's a shot on my way back to Wisconsin from New York, via Hamilton Ontario. Perhaps one of the first PIPs in Canada? The first of many trips to Lowe's.

I broke down and bought my Advanced PiP, I am weak, and not ready for a full EV, especially in New England.

Like any project, focusing efforts on the greatest flaw is most likely to yield the greatest return.

In my opinion, the PIP (followed closely by the Gen III hatchback) represents the pinnacle of automotive achievement available to the general public. Take anyone not addicted to this forum for a drive in one and ask them what thier primary criticism is, and I will wager that the majority will reply that it is the total noise level, which is a sum of a bunch of sources to include tire noise, wind noise, engine noise, and environmental noise (other vehicles, noisy factories, rain, etc.)

The Prius is not a quiet car. The majority of us know this and recognize it as a comprimise necessary to keep the weight down, and the MPG up. The sound deadening project I'm embarking upon is a reasoned effort to advance a nearly perfect driving experience into a more perfect one.
