I like the first one more. It just flows better to me. That being said I think they both go a little too overboard for my taste, maybe a little more subtle body kit. Those eye lids are plain ugly IMO.

Well, I had read on this forum or the Lexus forum that they were a good (discounted) source for all these aftermarket things (body kits, spoilers, wings, etc., etc.), so I had been getting everything through them so far, and they had been giving me a cheaper price than I had been getting from the only other place I knew of (Kyoei, thanks to the forum member that used them to get the Aimgain kit that I was originally considering). They've also been helpful at getting/finding me stuff, but their quotes have been significantly higher than Carson Toyota had been giving me. So, naturally, being the penny pinching, non-impulse buyer that I am (lol), I was going with the one that had been giving me the best prices. Anyhow, they had been corresponding with Kaira. Kaira apologized and said they were having rolling blackouts from the tsunami/earthquake tragedy. They said they'd have the prices for us the following day or two.....and now it's been FOREVER, and they've never responded again. Anyhow, that's the reason I have been using Carson. Everything had been great until now!

I don't like the first one at all. It just looks like the pieces were tacked on as an afterthought. The 2nd one looks like the car was actually made that way at the manufacturer. The 1st one just reminds me of those cheap bodykits like you'd see in JCWhitney, where they have[IMG]
those horizontal slats that protrude on each side of the front spoiler like in this picture of the yellow car (the slats sticking out on each side right above the fog light openings). I always wondered if those slats were supposed to provide a place to sit your drink or something... lol! Anyhow, just my opinion....

Yes, the first one is just a add-on kit. Good for the Prius five with ATP, radar, parking sensors and all.

The second one is a complete front bumper cover replacement, sans emblem.

Looks like you can still get the second one with the emblem intact as shown in the pic below (although it's showing two slots instead of three). I prefer it that way.

Shoot, from that angle it looks even better than the rendering.

I stand corrected on the emblem. I like it both with and without. At least GPG can put his Lexus logos on it now :p

So, you got the side and rear pieces from version 1, then the front piece from version 2?

I've been wrestling with the 2-slats or 3-slats for quite a while now... I kinda like the one with 3 slats on each side of the front, because it looks more like the Audi R8:

You don't want to know. Trust me, I looked into it. Tommy Kaira stuff is not cheap. It's sexy as hell, but just too rich for my blood. If you do the kit with the carbon fiber and titanium exhaust, you'd be looking at about $8k before having it shipped. Of course the more standard kit and exhaust is cheaper but not by much. Just a little food for thought.
