Wow, I'll have to see if mine comes with them also. That would be nice as those wheels might be too hot for the thugs to leave alone :(

The sound is kinda cool I think. It doesn't bother me at all. Can't really hear it from inside the car.

That's cool. I know how to delete the speaker but as long as it isn't goofy sounding, I'd leave well enough alone. Trying now to see if those are Low Rolling Resistance tires or not.

Yea that would be nice if mine has the locks also. The only reason I could see it not having them is if your dealer installed them as a thank you. Seeing as both our cars went thru the same port, they might be the same. I go in on Friday to go over the 3M film and what is going to get covered and if my car is there, I can get some pics and check those wheels for locks. Did you find any scuffs under the front edge? I am concerned with the car riding so low that it could get bumped on a ramp. My wife's Sky Redline was scuffed when she took delivery. She was freakin pissed when I showed her that. The dealer repaired it ;)

    Yikes

I need to buy a few oil filters yet. Not going to let the dealer touch it unless there are some warranty things or recalls to do later on.

How many miles a year you guessin your gonna drive? I typically drive my summer cars 6k-7k miles but seeing as this one will get double the mpg's, I might be driving it more often in the summer :) My Ion Redline is a 2006 and I put ~10,500 on it since new  It loves gas though so I don't like to take it far. I tried getting my wife to trade it in but she insisted we keep it. Doesn't make sense with silly gas prices these days.

I drive quite a bit back and forth to work. It's about 70 miles round trip on interstate. It translates to about 19k a year with misc driving added.

Might have to buy a work beater vehicle :p Keep your baby all shined up in the garage for weekend cruises.

I am thinking a used 2nd Gen would be good for a shopping mall grocery store vehicle. I'm retired so I only have to pick our son up at school in the afternoon or both mornings & afternoon's when Denise is out traveling. Not too much driving unless I get into road trips in my Prii :)
