NRDC Study Shows CAFE Rules Will Pay Multiple Dividends

    Looks like new CAFE rules have multiple benefits, including new tech trickling down into other vehicles.

    Footnote #1 says the fleet average will reach 250 grams CO2/mile.
    Using Prius as 161.3 grams/mile and EPA 50 mpg,

    This works out to EPA fleet of 32ish.
    Compare that to the 54.5 CAFE number

    By 2025!

    What vehicles do they include in fleet? If they are including big trucks and diesels etc that could be why number is lower for fleet vehicles.
