^ you have a way of making the late Mike Wallace seem like a nice guy - always in the interrogation mode.

I was not defending stuff like the Inquisition, but just saying the atheistic communists slaughtered more.

^ you're missing the greater comedy - SageBrush attempting to get people on the fence to want to be like him with his style of secular evangelism.

Then what *do* you say about the inquisition ? The inquisitors ? The rationale behind it ? The Church that authorized, funded, and lead it ?

^ "Mike Wallace" .... opps! I'm not supposed to insult the dead.

Inquisitions by priests or SageBrush are just not right.

Sorry, I've got some emails to get out - got a life you know. ;)

    Tut, tut.

Participate in the discussion by defending your position or debating a contrary one. Your hurt feelings are really irrelevant, as is this attempt to derail the discussion to a personal level.

Like Daniel, I could not care less if you pray to the FSM or some other figment of your imagination. I deny you the right to force it on others or introduce it into science education. Since I am restricting YOUR evangelical actions, I feel obliged to explain why.

If I oppose hatred, does that make me a hater ? (of hatred)
If I oppose religious evangelism, does that make me an evangelist against evangelism ?

You can run, but you cannot hide.

When I physically stick a red-hot rod into you while asking a question, then I can be honestly accused of a priestly inquisition. As it is, you are just throwing up a pathetic smokescreen to hide an unwillingness to be forthright.

    Cowardly, actually

^ What part of me saying the Inquisition was bad did you not understand?

    That's a dodge?

    I signed up in 2006 at PriusChat.com - not AtheistChat.com or PartisanChat.com

I'm under no obligation to divulge to you or anyone else every view I have, nor do most people as they don't enjoy endless arguing.

You said you do not defend it.

How bad ? Put bad in context.

Answer the other questions I posed earlier wrt to the inquisition, if you dare.

Not only more but they were done quite recently compared to the acts committed by Christians. Therefore, by the reasoning and logic of sage, APK and others here this irrefutably shows that these systems are more ignorant and less capable than Christianity as Christians haven't done anything of like character and scope for quite some time.

Christians are putting away their ignorance while secularist/atheist are clinging to their own.

    Inquisitions, actually. PLURAL.

Common lingo refers to the Jewish inquisition as the "inquisition."

To be honest, your views on the topic do not interest me.

Thankfully, Christians have for the most part been deprived of the opportunity (through diffusion of power) to continue their large scale murders. I'm here to keep it that way.

How can one be proud of the fact that their belief system is now the leading cause of genocide during the last century? Besides I thought you weren't interested in my view points?

    Good night. :yo:
