Where does this part go???

    Can anyone tell me where this part goes?
    I found it in the trunk area.
    I tried to find the part on the internet without avail.
    Hope one of members can help me out on this one.

    That looks like the lid that covers the hatch's emergency release handle. Look for hatch release on the owners manual for instructions on how to re-install the lid.

    ToyotaPartsZone.com flags it as "Cover, Luggage Compartment". Not very descriptive, I know. It looks like the access cover for replacing one of the reverse lights.

    Poke around in the back until you find a hole. :)

    That sounds about right. Unlock and open the rear deck lid, then look towards the rear near the hatch latch.

    This might also be an extra one left in during manufactering you Prius, so you might want to look for a cover that looks like it.

    Yep. Open the hatch and then the tray cover and you'll see either the same piece or the hole where it goes in the tray.

    Its the cover that clips into the plastic under floor luggage area. If you lift the floor hatch it will be directly under your nose in the wall.:)
