    Hi guys,

I successfully listed my iPhone and my wife's older Motorola mobile. My contacts transferred like a charm but my wife's phone must be too old and just sits there stating transfer, switches to Instant Messaging and disconnects while the Prius displays waiting...
I added my wife's contacts to my iPhone and overwrote the old phonebook hoping that my wife could use my phonebook when her phone is connected. Unfortunately, you only seem to be able to access the phonebook of the active phone. Any suggestions what to do?

    Thanks in advance!

    Tom

I know on the pre-2012 Gen III's the phone information is completely independent of each other. Most people prefer it this way :)

Might be that I would prefer it too if my wife could get her contacts into the system but what about if a phone does not transfer contacts like I wrote. I also did not see how you could actually enter the contacts manually. Without phonebook you always have to dial manually, which when driving defeats the purpose of having a hands-free system does it not?

    Thanks, Tom

What type of phone does your wife have? Go to the Toyota/Connect website, enter her phone type and service provider and see what kind of compatability you have with the car system.

My older phone would let me transfer contacts one at a time even though it would not transfer all at one time. I know on my Nav I can enter new contacts manually.

Unfortunately, I only get "Sorry, your selected vehicle and phone combination has not been tested."
Any ideas how to enter contacts manually?

    Thanks!

Without the phone in front of me I cannot remember exactly but when I selected a contact one of the options was to export contact or something to that affect. The car would be set for transferring contact. It was a slow process but once I did the first few it went pretty fast after that.

Unfortunately, the Motorola Razor is not offering any transfer feature. Are there really no manual entering options for contacts - just name and phone number??? And why can I delete another phone's phonebook but not be able to use another phone's phonebook???

    Thanks, Tom

P.S. Are there any other sources of information on the bluetooth device in the PriusC???

    Thanks, Tom
