I'm very pleased with this latest fill-up and the results. I thought I might get over 60mpg calculated but 59.3 is OK and gives me something to shoot for. :)
I never dreamed I'd get this kind of gas mileage so I'm not going to complain about anything regarding this vehicle.

good job 60 calculated is pretty tough, and its crazy how one pump might fill way higher than the next.

What's your tire pressure settings like?

Do you remember the Prius's MFD AVG speed associated with your 61.8 MPG?

    Thanks.

this caught my attention since I had actual 59.80 MPG which is highest ever for me with 2 years . Your sentiments are mine also... YTD so far is 52.81 (mild winter).

Had a great 140 mile highway run today, wish the MFD of 61mpg's (even at my worst difference, that would have been like 56.7mpg).

I'm pushing 62mpg reported right now at about 400miles on the tank.
Last couple tanks I got 600 to the tank. Its great driving 350 miles a week and still only going to the gas station 2 times a month.

On a side note, one thing I have noticed is the difference but also same driving. Well what I mean is this, I filled up my car and drove my normal 90 mile round trip to work and things for a tank full, I get gas at about 440 miles. Fine and dandy, the CONS will state and average as 47.3 mpg, it took a lot to get there since it starts at zero on the fill up. Now I do another fill up, keep trip A (above) and reset B. Now I monitor B, I drive insanely on the mark and do the best I can in my normal driving ways. For the first sets of drives I get it up to 61.1, but hills and dales cause it to grop to 51.2. Now there it stays give or take a point of two, but by the end of each day, its 51.2 or so. I look at the A trip and its 47.2. It appears that the way I drive is consistant based on CONS, so where you get both CONS to stablize and will hold there and not move, even thought MPG can be different on the display. I have had time where I could not get it above 45mpg till I reset the CONS, then if I get big number right from the start it will hold in that area. Weird computer.

Went camping in Florence Oregon on the coast. Prius loaded with three of us, a 100 lb black lab, and
camping gear and a full very heavy cooler. MPG's calculated 60.1 with reg gas with 10% Ethanol.
