So your 4Runner is supposed to be a reasonable comparison? And your one experience is supposed to be the final word on Toyota reliability?

Or couriers. I'm a courier, and after 7 months have 58000 miles. Should hit 100000 miles by March of 2012. Bought my 2011 Gen 3 in April of 2011. Absolutely no problems yet.

Yes it is a reasonable comparison. It is a Toyota!!! Consumer Reports rates Toyota, Lexus, and Scion as the most reliable cars in the world for a reason. They are engineered to last.

93K and going.. should hit 100K in March.
Also got into an accident at 93K.. front end damage. Guy in a jaguar went thru a stop sign. His car flatbeaded away.. drove mine away.
    Love the prius :D

    Yo......

The salesman-kid where I bought my 2010 Blue Prius from, in North Hollywood, LA said that alot of the LA Yellow PRIUS Cabs have over ....300,000 miles on them !

I just completed having the local Toyota shop bolt down the stablizer bar between the front struts........Wow ! what a difference in handling....the car now is tight when turning a corner at speed !

I just traded in my 2010 level 4 with 96,000+ miles on it for a 2012.
Never had any problems. I did replace the tires a year ago.

Thought I'd join the club - After 3 years 2 months we have 78,516 miles on the odo. Should hit 100,000 by Sept/Oct 2013. No trouble at all, have survived 1 moderately serious accident repairs with no problems.

We traded our 96,xxx mile 2010 in for a shinny new 2013 yesterday. It ran perfectly the entire time we only did scheduled maintenance and one set of new tires. It was a wonderful trouble free car and we can't wait to get to know all the new tricks the 2013 has up its sleeve!
