i live in sacramento and saw this blue ribbon prius 1(clean carfax report and good condition) at a dealership. It has 44k on it and priced for 19995. I am not sure if it is a good deal or not. I would appreciate for some thoughts.

I would not buy it at any cost. Used Priuses are insanely expensive. Just buy a brand new Prius for 23k-24k .

I think I would go with Dianne unless they came down at least 2K. Used Prii are just insanely expensive right now.

See above. (She's so busy selling she doesn't have time to correct typos. Either that or it's a subliminal message to try and get you to buy a v.)

That shows how ridiculous the price is and shows that you should either run or negotiate a significantly lower price.

Toyota Sunnyvale at Specials on new and used cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, parts and service specials. is openly advertising
The 3 year/36K basic warranty on the OP's Prius I/One is already gone. The 5 year/60K powertrain warranty is getting close to over. Prius I was fleet only and lacks a bunch of stuff: http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii-2010-prius-main-forum/69521-prius-i-other-news.html. http://web.archive.org/web/20090609.../toyota-announces-prices-for-2010-89249.aspx? shows what '10 Prius II (now called Two) and beyond have. That press release doesn't cover USB, but that's not included on that '10 until you go with a model III (Three) w/nav, at minimum.

'12 Prius Two has a whole bunch of stuff: Exclusive: 2012 MY Prius - Changes and Additions | PriusChat, but the part about the backup camera being included is wrong. A new Prius also includes http://www.toyota.com/toyota-care/.

If the size will work, the OP should also consider a new Prius c, model 1 or 2. If the OP's willing to go w/a liftback w/no cruise control, then a Prius c 1 might suffice (since it also has no cruise).

Damn! That's a great deal. I might have to trade in my 05 sooner. I will definitely keep you in mind in the future.

    See post 8.

Toyota Sunnyvale is legit. I bought my 06 Prius new from them. I wouldn't hesitate on going back.

I did help a friend shop (there and another dealer) for a new '11 Prius at end of 2011. They had no prob w/honoring their prices they had online but weren't willing to go any lower...
