    Every time I stream the sound quality of pandora sounds horrible. I hear normal radio nice and clear, but when I switch to Pandora it sounds all muffled and cheap. Does anyone else have this issue?

    Sprint with HTC Evo.

    Yes, I am also experiencing the same quality even in "high quality" mode.

    I used it (Pandora) for the first time today.

    High quality -> iPhone 4 -> Verizon -> USB

    Sounded great, No pauses or skips.

    I suggest that each comment indicate phone and carrier so we can check whether there is any correlation.

    ATT. iPhone4. Tethered accessing via Bluetooth. No skips on high quality Pandora setting. I can't tell difference between high and lower quality on the Pandora on the car radio, both sound good.

    Volume is not consistent for me in Pandora. Sometimes way to low at same volume setting.

    Started driving today twice with iPhone on USB, and Pandora resumed and sounds great still.

    High Quality -> HTC one S -> T-mobile -> USB

    When I listen to Pandora via Entune it sounds like it's playing in another room. The sound is muffled. When I go though Bluetooth and listen to Pandora without Entune it sounds great.

    High mode is only for Pandora One subscribers. If you aren't, it will be exactly the same as normal.

    Thanks for the reply! Are you 100% certain of this? Reason I ask is because when I listen to Pandora on the car I never hear commercials, so I actually assumed the cost of Pandora One is subsidized by the entune's annual membership, which means that HQ should be included.
    If you can confirm that Pandora one will actually provide HQ I'd certainly be willing to pay for it over SXM.

    I have the Prius 3 for two months now. Never got Pandora to work. However Im thinking Why am I even needing the Apps fromt he HU to work if I need to have the phone next to me anyways. Just use the Aux cable and use any streaming apps or playlist I have on my andriod phone. the entune system is way dumb...

    I use the "high quality" option in Pandora without commercials in the car and without paying for a Pandora subscription.
    Pandora Sound quality is much better than normal FM; equal or better to Satellite quality.
    There are some "dead" cell areas on my daily commute that Pandora drops out, but when it works (90% of the time,) it's a great free service.
    FYI Entune/Pandora has hit my Verizon data plan for about 1GB for a month, about 30 minutes of connect time per day, mostly Pandora, but some Fuel and Weather/radar lookup.

    I have a Pandora One account and the sound quality via Entune is just fine. I almost exclusively connect using BT, and usually from an iPad. Works just as well with an iPhone 4 when I am connected to that. The reason why I don't use the iPhone all the time is because I get a lot of email and other notices that can interrupt the music, even if it only mutes a few decibels for a second or two. I am more incognito with the iPad. ;)

    new iPad ?

    Pandora sound quality set to Hi is definitely better than the Sirius sound quality.
    Shockingly good even.

    Do you find the quality to be good when using the entune app or when listening over BT? Do you find that the entune app is very muffled (low bit rate)?

    That makes sense. My chief complaint is that the quality is significantly reduced when using the Entune App. I actually like the ability to control my music through the car's interface especially now in Los Angeles, if a cop sees a phone in your hand, you're getting a ticket. End of story.

    I don't think it's making as much sense as you think it is. ;)
    I am using the Entune app. The iphone is connected through BT because it has to be in order to use Entune in the car.
    The phone stays in my pocket or in the ProClip cradle and I never touch it.
    Everything is controlled through Entune.
    Sound quality is set to high and sounds awesome.

    That is not accurate. iPhone works through USB with Entune.
