"What's New" button at the top does that. And if you Mark All As Read, the What's New will show you the What's New in plain chrono order.

To look at thread you've posted in, if you click the "Alerts" tab at the top right menu, a drop down of all the conversations you posted in appears with latest posts.

I prefer the "bottom 3" format. I like to see info about posters, but the "Top 2" format displays too much info in too much space, which makes it difficult to read a thread. Just looking at this response, my comment is the least emphasized element, yet that's the most important element.

I thought I liked the bottom 2 threads best, but after reading the comment about the upper three being a better layout, I must say I now agree. No reason to continuously show user statistics over and over again. Still, I am liking the new layout, thanks for all your hard work!

B4 the change there was info about the poster such as which car they have and when they joined PC. I liked seeing that info. Will that be on the new format?

I much prefer the upper 3. My biggest complaint about the new forum format is fewer posts on each screen. Even my 69 year old eyes had no problem reading the older more information dense pages. The new extra white space seems to more of a styling exercise than adding to the value of the forum.

Other than that, I like the faster speed, will get used to the new features and appreciate the work Danny and others put into PC. Thanks guys, and thanks for being so good about soliciting user input.:)

Am I allowed to change my mind? :)

I actually like the member stats/info just under the avatar (particularly the year/model info, which is needed when answering year/model specific questions), but not the incredibly long sigs that some people have (and that was eliminated in the top format, which is why I originally voted that way).

If we could keep the stats and eliminate the sigs, that would be ideal IMHO. If not, I'd vote for the bottom format.

Stream, if you click on the persons avatar in the compact version, a nice overlay with all their information pops up on the screen.

Another suggestion would be when clicking on "Mark Forums Read" at the upper left of the page--don't ask if you want all forums marked read, or just the one you're currently in (I always want all marked read).

I didn't realize this feature; as a matter of fact, it doesn't hide the poster's information at all.
I changed my mind to this type of format instead of the older version.

Whichever format I prefer slightly larger fonts for everything. Thanks!

FYI--the major browsers have a zoom option in the menu bar (typically in the view or tools menu), which allows you to increase (or decrease) the font size.

I believe the new format has a larger font than the last version, and anything larger obviously decreases the amount of info on the screen, so it's a trade-off, which you can customize to your liking in your browser.

I guess I'll have to monkey with my avatar now, because the new software (by going to a square) has truncated it ... apparently dead center.
[EDIT ... oh ... I see this is being addressed]
That said, I'll reserve comment on the overall new program/look - in hopes that I'll learn to like it ... or at least ;) be able to stand it ... as well as Danny's new avatar ... (what the heck?!?). Baahh, that's probably just me ... just knowing what 'she-who-must-be-obeyed' would say if I'd had the nerve to dawn a moppy clown wig. Yea, I could just hear it; "What's WRONG with you?!?" Then again ... If it were Detroit all over again ... maybe I would of ...
At least my signature pic is OK ... with the most lovable "Dodger Font" PriusChat sticker proudly shining forth.
Lastly > The "ABOUT" feature's "Where you are from". Somehow the new Page truncated our Location to read (something like)
South OC So Cal "&amp" the Flathead Valley, MT
where &amp used to just show & (for the word, "AND") ... BUT ... I don't readily see how to change the "about / location" feature myself ... so maybe that's another bug too?

Are they moving back to the rectangle shape? I liked my old avatar better than the new, square one I have now--with all the empty space at the top and bottom.

Yay for the compact version. In a normal thread some of the posts will have quotes, some will be short comments, and others will be manifestos with inline graphics. That variety will break up the monotony I see in this thread without using white space every post.
