Just wanted to get a gut check from others out there on a condenser replacement by my local Toyota dealer. Apparently it has a hole in it. Is $700 steep? We live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In the UK you can buy a replacement condenser for £100 or $160, fit evacuate and refill system about £160 or $195 so total £260 or $355, but these are not dealer prices. So for a dealer probably not to bad, but you should do better shopping around. If you go independent make sure they know to use ND11 oil in the refill or big troubles will appear.
