So I picked up the moonglow C4 about three weeks ago. I love the car. I've had VWs for a while and this was the first toyota I've ever had. For the LONGEST time, I wanted to get a TDI golf, but I ended up with a C. MPG's heavily weighed my decision, and also the hybrid concept. So far I'm glad I got the C.

    Here are some random comments...

    - when i was shopping, the dealer tried to sway me toward a 3, and said the softex seats were like hard and plasticy. Turns out, I really like them... and best of all, they are not made from dead animals!
    - Sure the 4 costs more and many could consider the costs out weigh the value, but the heated seats and alloy rims are nice too.
    - it would be nice if all of the windows had auto up/down at the drivers control.
    - first tank 58.2 MPG! woot!
    - love the geeked out information on all the trip computers and eco scores. I feel like i'm educating people about power electronics / motor generators when I show some of my friends the car, and all the bar graphs, etc.
    - Entune. Wth? still have not even really tried to set it up or anything though... car salesman said it was basically horrible, but future software upgrades would improve it (especailly for iphone users) /??
    - nav seems slow and complicated. i might use it more if i lived in a city where i might get lost, but this is a small town.
    - I wish the radio would not stay at the volume it was when you turn off the car. I sometimes listen to loud music, and then in the morning, it's loud when i turn it on. My VW turned it down to a fixed level every time the power was turned on.
    - I wish the turn signal would blink like 3 times if you tapped it - like for lane changes. (like my old VW)
    - I mostly drive in the city so wind / road noise isn't much of a factor, but if I was driving on the highway alot it would probably get annoying. In fact if i had longer commutes often I probably would have considered other cars... (like a TDI)

I have had mine 3 weeks today too. I agree with you about the turn signals because my previous car had that feature on it but I don't know of any cars that have auto up/down on all four windows. Did your Golf? I am still trying to figure out how to correctly read all the different display screens and know exactly what they mean! LOL I do like the Entune though. Coming from a vehicle that had no nav and having never used Pandora before.. I think they are both cool. It takes a few minutes to come up most of the time but I don't mind waiting vs not having it at all. I really don't use the nav just around town but more if I am going to a place I am unfamiliar with so I don't use it all that often. I have used the weather app several times to check on approaching storms to see how long I have before I have to close the sunroof! LOL It works great!

I actually find the auto-down window really annoying. Different strokes.

The turn signals have a lane change position that will automatically release when you let up on the turn signal. It is found on page 15 of the quick reference guide and explained in greater detail in the owner's manual.

We do a lot of highway driving and find that the road noise is on par with a lot of the small cars on the road today. Depending on the condition of the road surface, we do not even notice it.

We absolutely love the car! 65 miles per hour highway mileage averages 50 mpg round trip from Nevada to California and 53 mpg round trip from Nevada to Utah!

We have a Two and cannot comment on your Entune experience!

    Congratulations on the car!

LOL - agree with you - but for me- i think it's a "good" thing .....especially when I've caught myself forgetting to turn it on! I THINK it got me in trouble once when i Hit a bike rider whilst I was turning?.. I swear that i had it indicating?? The rider was OK thankfully...& blamed the sunglare for not seeing my blinker on. I felt awful about it - that I'm now extra aware when driving. - because I can HEAR IT;)

For the record - I should say that this happened with my old car which was a Holden Statesman
