As of today, I saw on the toyota website that they have added financing offers for the Hybrid Camry starting today for a bit over a month. I'll be starting my search asap for the exact combo I'm want.
The special offer is 0% for 36 and 48 months and 1.9% for 60 months.

A free loan is a gift I cant pass up.

I do not know if this was brought on due to a summer lull in sales, or an economic lull, or a preplanned marketing strategy that was intended to come out after the car had been in production for a certain amount of time. No way to know if this will run through the summer or not, but its on for now, and looks good enough for me to pull the trigger.

I wish the edmunds 750.00 rebate applied to the hybrid like it does for the regular model, but then that would just be too sweet!!

i'm thinking of just going out and getting my wife the xle and the heck with the mpg loss over the le. i think she'll like the bells and whistles and the mpg's should be better than her 08 anyway.

I really don't think you'll see a big difference in the MPG of the LE and the XLE. I think you'll see more return in how you drive either than between the models by far.

I'm trying to remember some of the dealer names who others have mentioned on here and the prius v forums that gave good deals. Can't recall the names now.

I really wish they would add thee hybrid line to the recent grad discount as well!!!! I do not know why they don't sice they are claiming to want people to go green, and lure in younger buyers to retain customers for life. Why not add the hybrid to the recent grad discount?

As the mpg's go up the differences are fewer in cost. Screen shot in look at a Lexus CTh attached.

So, when I'm finalizing the deal for the hycam, anythng notable should try to lock in? Such as requesting in writing one or two map NAV updates for free over the next 5 years?
    Is that doable?
    Anything else?

Not sure but it's worth trying (since it is $200ish/map depending on the nav system).
