Not sure if this has been brought up, sorry if it has but I was wondering....the new feature on the 2012 Prius has a reading for a single trip.
Once you turn the power button off after you drive somewhere the dash will read your MPG, price per gallon, time and distance.
Does anyone know if this reading is accurate or is it off by a few gallons like the main MPG computer reading?
Also does anyone know if you can bring that reading back up once it disappears?

    Thx.

I'm sure its as accurate as the car says the overall MPG is, I reset my Trip B each time I leave the house and it has always matched. I would also like to know if you can bring it back up, I'm still getting used to having a Prius so I forget to look at it all the time

How does your car know Price per gallon?

I have the Adv PiP and I have not found any way to view that information after leaving the car.

Right after you fuel up, watch the dash when you start car, you can immediately updated price, but be ready on steering wheel buttons (display/trip)

I wonder if this is not in the PiP. Does this happen when you reset the Trip? I will read through the manual and see what I can find.
