A poll to ask if a sale is legitimate? That's a new one on me. The unit has been available one Ebay from China (HK) for months. Ottonavi ships from the US and provides US support. Current sale pricing makes it hard for those sellers to compete with Ottonavi.

Read the threads. The unit supports JBL systems (plug and play). You need to use a different harness and you need to go into a setup unit to turn on the amp.

It won't use the factory microphone.

 

They say the harness doesn't work with the 2012 ?

 

Ordered mine on Friday will be here Thursday with the 4th being on Wednesday. I asked for the Prius specific rear camera rather than the universal one that is sent. I also asked for the iGO Primo maps as well all with no additional charges. $549.99 shipped

 

Yea they just added that on their website Friday even though the unit still has the standard description for 2010-2012.

 

for JBL, the different harness is it extra from OTTOnavi or they will supply it for free ?

or is it just like an amplifier adapter like from Pac tato ?

I just called OTTONAVI and yes , I can buy the until for my 2010 Prius III JBL system w/o Nav for 549.99 shipped, I asked is it Plug and play and She said yes, she said I have until this Friday to get that price, and she said when I order making sure tell her that I have JBL w/o NAv so she can include the harness for my car, So I have few more questions hope that you guys can help me before I buy it.


1. The Bluetooth in my steering wheel still working?
2. The Volume in my steering wheel still working?
3. The ipod connect in the middle storage still working?
4. what the Map should I ask? I am in Southern California, I see in here from r3dl4b3l asking for iGO Primo maps, what is that? I have no idea please help.
5. For the Back up Camera what should I ask? should I ask for Prius specific rear camera ?

6. I know this unit have USB come with it, where do you install it?

PS: I am in San Diego, any member in San Diego have done this yet or going to order and install next couple week please let me know I would like to see or I might need help, or we can install them together.

 

I bought mine today, everything is plug and play.

Bluetooth, volume from the steering wheel will work. Get the Prius specific rear camera, and get the IGI Primo maps.

the usb, you can run it through the glove box also you will need to ground the pink wire to enable DVD playback when you drive.

fairly easy install, shouldn't take u more than 30 min

the Ipod input is in center armrest next to driver side that also the storage area, did your car come with that?

No i don't have that, however, the install shouldn't affect that, it should still work

Are you talking about the 3.5mm input? If so, then yes it will still work.

iGo Primo Maps is suppose to be the flagship iGo software from what I read on their website.

I believe everything on the steering column works except for one part of the bluetooth which is hanging up on a call. I'm not completely sure.

I got the Prius camera because I wanted to make sure it sits flush when the blank is pushed out where the OEM would have gone. This may or may not work but figured it might since it would a Prius specific one rather universal.

I think the install won't be too much of a hassle since there are plenty of write ups with accurate pics

It will come with iGo8 maps. These are the only two that they have.

 

Everything will work as before INCLUDING the hanging up.
What's different is the Voice button (if you have it).
Instead, it becomes a MUTE; which is a nice thought after all.

I ordered one two days ago (for $549) and also ordered the Camry rear camera. They were kind enough to email me to tell me that they were giving away the camera as a limited time offer. They then cancelled my order for the Camry camera since I didn't need to purchase one.

I live in Florida so it will take 9 days to get here. I believe it ships from somewhere in Canada. Great service!
