Gen 1 Mudflaps / splashguard installation

    At last, I found a place selling the Gen 1 mudflaps. Installed them today, below is the installation photos. Installation was relatively easy. I installed them because I wanted less splash from the tires to keep the car cleaner. Makes the car look better too IMO.

    Toyota of Canada apparently had PowerFlow make a batch of the mudflaps. They come with installation bits and screws, along with instructions.

    For the heck of it, I bought some of these. Here is where I found them. My car has nothing on the fenders now. Was that original or did the previous owners remove something? For the price, might as well try them. Thanks for the post.

    Originally, there's like a plastic strip secured by plastic nuts and screws to the fender to protect it from nicks by road debris.

    I bought them from the eBay store for the link you supplied. Good price, considering I could only previously find the rears on eBay UK, and they were going to cost me over $100 with shipping.
