A very pretty car would be a Seaglass Pearl with a Plus Package painted in Seaglass Pearl. That would be totally unique.

That would be unique, as the plus package is only available in Silver, Black, Blizzard, and Winter Gray. I would have sprung for plus package on mine, but I really wanted Seaglass Pearl.

Color is such a subjective thing. I'm sure the OP will be really happy with his Four Solar, no matter which color he chooses.

Wonder why Toyota doesn't go with some bold colors, a bright yellow, a Kiwi green metallic, bright red vs. the dull nondescript colors. Even the Prius "red" is a dull color that disappears in a sea of dull colors. I was glad the Blizzard Pearl was not the "bright white" of previous years and had some glitter to it. What attracted me to the Prius C initially was that they had a bright red offering.

The C has a redder red, orange, and a brighter blue. Perhaps they think hatchback drivers are more conservative, or at least more conservative colors appeal to hatchback buyers?

I'd love a bright metallic Kiwi.

Frogger green like those Fiesta hatchbacks come in :) That'd be neat.

I like it but don't think it would work on the Prius. The Fiesta has a racier look to it that matches that paint. If Ford had only spent last three years building and refining a Focus/Fiesta hybrid, getting 45 mpg and having a cool car look, I'd have gone that route vs. Prius

I like any color as long as it's green. But not so much that I'm like one of my college roommates, who, when asked what kind of car she was looking for, replied, "a blue one."

I always sort of thought that was a bad way to pick a car. And that was justified when her engine threw a rod the next week. But, hey... it was blue.

Just bought my new Prius tonight! Blizzard White Pearl Four + Solar. In the end, I just liked the way it contrasted so sharply with the black grill, roof & windows and seemed brighter and happier than the other colors. Although, I gotta say the new darker blue looks cool up close and in person.

For the past 12 years I've been driving a bright yellow Nissan Xterra 4x4. I loved the way it stood out and I could see it a mile away. The year I bought it (2000) it was a rare, limited edition color... and then Nissan started making a ton of them and it wasn't so unique anymore. But, that yellow fit the Xterra well. A yellow Prius would just look like a taxi. I feel good about going with the blizzard pearl...

Congrats on the BP. I had a 4 with a solar and loved the contrast. What mods do you have planned for it?

first mods? window tint and pop the wheel covers off. That might be it, or it might be just the beginning. Gonna really push the JBLs and see if they're good on their own or need sumthin extra

The black/white contrast works. I just removed the plastic wheel covers as the Prius III comes with black alloy wheels (odd they are black vs. a regular, good looking alloy but no doubt Toyota saves money somehow) and put wheel caps on to see how the black wheels work out. The rest of the black/white contrast of the car gives it a chance. The wheels are the only visual flaw in the 2012 Prius.

A few of us added side moldings to break up the slab side.

Congrats on your pri 4 & yeah the dark blue & black are very nice especially when there clean after a wash but from than on it is pretty hard to keep it that way as dust & dirt becomes more noticeable than any other color. U will appreciate & love the BP color even more as time goes on;).

I had and still have a 2006 with no sunroof. I looked at the Five and the Four/solar...For me it was a easy choice...I always had sunroofs in my previous car and really miss it. Love driving with it open for a couple of reasons. 1. On the Prius you get hell of a lot of blowing wind coming in the window almost like jet turbulence. It is a lot more than most cars. So, I just drive with the roof ope instead of the window...2. It really give an open airy feeling even though it's not that big of a opening...3. Yea...it does look very, very cool!!! Just one man's opinion.....

I just bought a 2012 Level 3 Prius. I intentionally didn't want the sunroof. I think the extra weight would have a negative effect on MPG. And, I rarely ever used the moonroof on any of my previous cars. The sun is usually too hot beating down on me while I'm driving. If I need to vent the car while it is parked, I just vent one of the windows... The only thing the Level 4 and 5 have, that I wish I had is the lumbar support, LED headlights and maybe the Driving lights. Wasn't interested in the 17" wheels, Leatherette, Headlight washers, HUD, Lane Assist or the Radar. I saved about $4000 by going with the Level 3 over the 4 or 5.

In this hot, hot weather the solar sun roof is paying its way. Ventilating the car and, with the help of some window tint and Blizzard Pearl paint, making it a very practical option.

Ability to keep all the windows closed while parking, keeping car safe and interior free of dust and dirt or a dousing from thunderstorms is also a bonus.

The small added weight has no bad effect on mileage.

I just purchased a Red 2012 Level 4 Prius with Sunroof. I think the Black and Red combo looks really good. While I don't plan to use the sun roof much, I like the way it looks. I did purchase the Prius Plus Package but need to bring my car back in when the parts arrive.

I am a little nervous now with the car being too low and scratching up the ground effects body kit. I drive my car very sporty so Power mode is always on. I hope all the Prius Plus parts make for better road handling such as taking corners at higher speeds or better turning ratio when making a U Turn. Can someone confirm this?

    Congrats!

Although the blizzard pearl + solar is my favorite combo the red + solar is a close second. The red looks decent by itself but when viewed through polarized sunglasses the color really pops and is by far the most dramatic of the Prius colors. I love looking at it when one drives by. :)
