On the this WEEK in TECH | TWiT.TV podcast, they've brought up the Google glasses a few times. On a recent ep of Charlie Rose, former Professor Sebastian Thrun (behind the Google self-driving car project and led the Stanford team to win one of the DARPA driving challenges before) was on w/the glasses on. Interview at Charlie Rose - Sebastian Thrun. He didn't talk for long but talked about the self driving cars, the glasses and Udacity.

Looks kinda like a Borg, eh?

I thought this was interesting news today: Google parts ways with Apple over WebKit, launches Blink | Internet & Media - CNET News.

For those who aren't aware, the Webkit rendering engine is (for now) used by the web browers of virtually all the major mobile devices: Android devices, iOS devices, newer Blackberries, defunct webOS devices, even Symbian, just not Microsoft devices. This is in addition to Chrome and Safari on PCs and Macs.
