Footwell & Glovebox OEM LED Lighting Change

    I know this has probably been covered but wish to change the original ones to White LED's. I see how they are removed, but unsure of what you can replace the OEM ones with, or if you even can with White LED's.

    Is there any OEM ones off another model Toyota or Lexus that fit or JDM?

    ANY help and photos greatly appreciated!

    Pete,

    I am reasonably sure you can change out the bulb in the glovebox with a Lexus part number (81080-22040), which contains a white LED. If your car currently has the footwell lights, this same part number can be used for those as well. Otherwise, you will have to either make a footwell light harness to simulate the one from a higher-grade Prius or wire them in using a power source you choose.

    I just ordered 2 more of the blue lights from above. I want to install them under the front seats. Really easy to just remove what is there stock and plug these in, they stick to the underside of the dash and look really sharp.

    And they plug directly into the OEM footwell light plug? No special adapter needed?

    Ok...looked all over my glove box, didn't find a light. Am I missing something?

    Thanks for sharing that. If I would have known about 3 years ago, I could have saved myself a whole lot of bucks! The bulb itself looks like the attached photo, but upon closer inspection of the plug, it is just a 2 pin connector.
    I went with the Lexus bulbs, but the white light looks so much better. If they ever burn out, I know what to get as replacements!

    Thanks gents, I'll contact my local Lexus dealer and see if they can come up with the goods.

    I have searched online and nothing comes up for that part here in the UK, so will have to wait and see tomorrow.
