iHeart question - My Stations

    Can someone help me with this one...... Went online to start an iHeart radio account thinking that it works like Pandora (i.e. syncs stations that you've saved on the internet so you can then access those stations in your car).

    I created a ton of great channels online but can't for the life of me figure out how to get iHeart in the car to acknowledge that I have stations already created.

    Went to the Entune website to see if I needed to sync my iHeart account but that isn't a possibility like the others...... I can't seem to find the artists in the Prius that I was able to find online.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    iHeart works differently from Panodora. For iHeart you choose your stations in the car itself. Your start iHeart in the car and chose a station you want. While you are listening to that station, you select it and it automatically gets saved. Since I did it only once and I am not in the car, I don't remember exactly what the selection button looks like. However it was obvious and I was able to do it at the first try.

    Got it..... I've tried that and it works as described. The thing that I can't figure out is how to make a specific artist channel. It's possible on the internet but I can't find a way to do it in the car.... that's why I thought it might be possible with a sync function.

    There are a few bugs in the iHeart app. It sometimes doesn't show the search for radio stations properly. Kind of a bummer. Hope they iron out the flaws.

    Back to Pandora I go....... iHeart is ok but doesn't offer the flexibility to find the artists I want versus what they provide...... Likewise, hope they iron out the flaws.....

    I don't get the point of iHeart. I would only use it if I wanted to listen to a sports broadcast from another market. Other than that, I don't know why I would listen to radio from someplace other than where I am. I would use pandora instead.

    I don't much see the point of I Heart either. Why do I care about out-of-market radio unless I'm: a) in the business or b) out of town and need to hear something "from home". Either way, the music's the same in any market, so you will pay for the added bandwidth for something you could get OTA or as a playlist on your own device.

    Tried iHeart again today just to make sure I'm not missing something special about this app...... nada to report back about. Very puzzling indeed.

    You play stations by genre.. sometimes it allows you to. Sometimes it doesn't. :(
